Online Ghost Solution Suite Technical Training Series offered by Binary Research International
Milwaukee, Wisc. (PRWEB) January 20, 2010 -- Binary Research International (BRI), part of the company that originally developed Ghost (now owned by Symantec Corporation), has announced the launch of a five part online training series on the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite (http://www.binaryresearch.net/training/online_gss_training).
In 2000, BRI was the first company to offer Ghost Training in a classroom environment. They now apply a decade's worth of Ghost technical training (http://www.binaryresearch.net/training/ghost_solution_suite) experience to offer these five web-based sessions: DeployAnywhere (http://www.binaryresearch.net/training/online_gss_training/deployanywhere); GhostCasting and the GhostCast Server; Windows Deployment Services (http://www.binaryresearch.net/training/online_gss_training/windows_deployment_services_and_ghost) and Ghost; 3Com Boot Services and Ghost; and the Ghost Boot Wizard.
The training sessions are designed to provide Ghost users with instruction on a specific topic area within Ghost Solution Suite. The series of webinars, each approximately 90 minutes in length, increases participants' knowledge of the benefits of a particular aspect of Ghost and a greater understanding of how to apply the technology within their environment.
"We at BRI know Ghost Solution Suite extremely well, having spent nearly a decade and a half selling and supporting it," said Annette Dow, chief executive officer of Binary Research International.
"The technical training is simply a natural evolution of this since the product is infinitely more complex than it was when we introduced it in the mid-90s," Dow continued. "IT personnel have been coming to us for ten years for their Ghost training, but with slashed travel budgets and reduced headcounts, attending a 3-day training workshop isn't always feasible for them - though it is no less needed."
The webinars consist of a visual portion conducted via web conference and an audio portion conducted via teleconference. Participants see and hear the procedures being undertaken and are provided with the documentation to allow them to implement the procedures in their own test environment as the trainer presents them. Participants may ask live questions during and at the end of each webinar.
Pricing starts at $200 per session, with discounts available for attending multiple sessions and for companies sending additional personnel.
This series online webinars is the first five of what will grow into a larger library of technical training covering Ghost and the Microsoft Deployment Tools.
