JFK at the Whitehouse
John F. Kennedy

Many have always felt that the late JFK would want to be remembered for what he did in office, and not for how he died.

The above headline appeared Saturday morning November 23rd, 1963  in "The Dallas Morning News" as the nation swoon in a stunned haze. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the day that America lost her innocence's.

Since the death of President John F. Kennedy theories concerning the assassination have flown as fast as a hail of bullets. No one seems to want to believe that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, and that may be natural.  That someone who embodied the countries optimism, and vigor could be destroyed so easily by a crackpot never-do-well was unbelievably unfair.

The list of potential conspiracy suspects reads like a laundry list of both the good and the evil.  Implicated at various times by a hodge-podge of different theorist have been: the CIA, the FBI, the Russian’s, the Chinese, the Swiss, (yes I said the Swiss) the Mason’s, the MIB’s, the Mafia, Jimmy Hoffa (supposedly one of the reasons for his disappearance), and of course vice president LBJ.

Speculation was even made about the fact that as a child Bill Clinton had shaken the hand of the President!  No one is safe from the finger of blame when the JFK assignation buffs get started even a preadolescent at the time, and men in the crowd sporting umbrellas!
